After I began practicing the Word I became a stranger to my friends. One of them said to me, I liked the old You better. He suggested that “why don’t you just stop doing that”.
Sometimes a man as to take a path in life and walk it alone.
That is the essence of a truly and sincerely held belief.
A sincerely held belief in God with a duty to God.
We are told that we must work out our own salvation with fear and trembling.
We are not judged together like in the communist system.
We are fully responsible for our own actions, behaviors.
God is not mocked and we reap what we sow. We can’t fool God.
:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
(2 Corinthians 12:9, KJV)
We get what we ask. We need to ask for what we want and what we need.
The words have to come out of our mouth in prayer, in desire for God.
We have to approach God as our Father, as our Guardian just like a child approaches his daddy and mommy for his needs and wants. And we have to approach God in expectation of receiving every thing that we ask.
If we don’t ask, we won’t receive. Ask for what you want. Believing that you have already received.
:22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
(Matthew 21:22, KJV)
We have some responsibility too what we receive. We have to ask. If we do not ask we will not receive.
:14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: 15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him. 16 If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it. 17 All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.
(1 John 5:14-17, KJV)
:20 For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things. 21 Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. 22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
(1 John 3:20-22, KJV)
We also have a duty to help our fellow brother in YHWH. If we see a fellow Brother in the Messiah in a sin, the individual has a duty to YHWH to pray for that man. Perchance YHWH will give him repentance of the sin, even of the presumptuous sin:
:25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; 26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.
(2 Timothy 2:25-26, KJV)
And the follower of YHWH, Messiah, (Jesus Christ) Yahushua has duty to himself, to keep is Vessel pure, clean, righteous:
:22 Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart. 23 But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes. 24 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,
(2 Timothy 2:22-24, KJV)
1 Thessalonians 4
1 Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, so ye would abound more and more.
2 For ye know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus.
3 For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:
4 That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour;
5 Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God:
(1 Thessalonians 4:1-5, KJV)
:34 For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him. (John 3:34, KJV)
