What is Faith in God. What does it mean to have faith in God? The word ‘Faith’ comes from the root-word “fid” which means trust. Trust in the operation of the Law of God.

Recently I dreamed.

Every word spoken shall be judged.

I am speaking here as an ambassador for God, and as such, I have a charge, an obligation, a duty, to speak His Words.

:36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. 37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. (Matthew 12:36-37, KJV)

Upon reading this booklet you will no longer be ignorant of the law of the 4^th Commandment. I am going to make an integrated effort demonstrate the sovereignty of the authority of the command to Sabbath that is, to Rest, each and every 7^th day. The three-fold objective of this writing is 1. to show the authority and the Sovereignty of the commandment regarding the Sabbath; 2. the correct day and 3. the Scriptural way to observe it because His people, a “peculiar people”, will be obeying his law now and in the next life. I am going to attempt to show that the law is not done away with by the Word of God. There will not be reasoning from my logic, only the Word to show God has already spoken.

An introductory summary:

The weekly Sabbath is the set apart time once a week that the man of God is duty bound to keep holy and set apart from all work activities.

The Sabbath was initiated by the Creator in the book of Genesis and is mentioned throughout the Scripture. The word itself appears 147 times in the KJV. This issue is critical to God.

He calls it a Covenant between his people and himself. A Covenant is another way of saying it is a contract. His people are “a peculiar treasure” who obey his laws and his commandments including the fourth commandment. There are still 10 commandments

This Sabbath day issue is not a side issue to be pushed to the side.

In proving this law, I will be showing the foundation that must exist which is the authority of the Scripture. If it can be shown that the Creator of the Universe is actually the Messiah, ( Jesus Christ), then the argument that he would have nullified his own speech would be shown to be preposterous. He spoke the universe into existence. He spoke the Scripture to the Prophets. He spoke the Word to Moses. He is not going to nulify his own speech, is He? I doubt it.

The “reasoning” I have heard that the Sabbath day is no longer to be observed is weak on its face. The prima facie case that the Sabbath is still to be observed occurs through out the Scripture from Genesis to Revelation.

Acts 17:30 KJV+

:30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: (Acts 17:30, KJV)

This booklet is primarily directed to people who sincerely want delve into the Scripture and the Word of God contained therein.

It is for your use in learning and understanding the topic. I have spent my energy, time and effort on this. I certainly hope that this work will be useful to you in increasing your blessing from Sabbath observation. I have discovered that if God moves you to begin keeping the Sabbath during your studies, you may find confirmation of the truth of this law in your own life and experience, as have I.

Instruction is: The function or the information, thus, would that not be the application of the law; or, in other words, the teaching others how to live by the Word/ Law as spoken by God?

So people teaching others how to live by God’s law would be the laborer in the Word. Or as the scripture speaks: The Ox treading out the corn, figuratively speaking.

The harvest is great but workers are few.

I am working for YHWH and YHWH is the one that is paying me for my labor.

:17 Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine. 18 For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward. (1 Timothy 5:17-18, KJV)

The first issue to mention is that the:

Word of God is of NO private interpretation.

(2 Peter 1:19 -21 KJV)

:19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: 20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. (2 Peter 1:19-21, KJV)

Has the Sabbath Day Law been done away with because Jesus nailed it to the Cross? There is no supporting evidence in the Scripture to sustain such an allegation. But the evidence to the contrary is abundant!

Straight out of the Messiah’s own mouth come the following words:

:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 5:17-20, KJV)

This law must be pretty important because the Son of God continues his speech and confirms the law in that those teaching and doing the “least commandment…” shall be called “great in the kingdom of heaven” as Matthew 5:19 confirms:

So in order to “do away with the law and nail it to the cross” Matthew 5:17 and Matthew 5:19 have to be stricken from the Word of God.

Also, John 15:10 records this:

:9 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. 10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love. 11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. 12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. (John 15:9-12, KJV)

So, how does the Christian decide what ‘word’ to keep in the Scripture?

I hear some devout Christians say that only the “commandments of Jesus” are to be kept and that the rest of the law has been done away with and nailed to the cross and put out of the way. My first reply to this statement is a question to you, dear reader: Are not all aspects of our lives are all governed by law? The question then is, Is God’s law the highest?

Where does the buck stop? Is Acts 5:29 the highest commandment? Ought we to obey God first and foremost?

We are commanded to study to show our selves approved rightly dividing the Word of Truth. We are commanded to study this Word “line upon line”, “precept upon precept”.

(Isaiah 28:9-13) (KJV) Starting at verse 9

Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. 10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: 11 For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people. 12 To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear. 13 But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken. (Isaiah 28:9-13, KJV)

It appears to me that every word out of HIS mouth is in full force and effect:

So the question arises: Has ‘IT all been fulfilled’, as Matthew states?

:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. 11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, 12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? (2 Peter 3:10-12, KJV)

My reason, logic and common sense say: No, this event has not happened, yet.. True?

He tells us, My thoughts are not your thoughts.

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. 10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: 11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. 12 For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. 13 Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off. In furtherance of the purpose of this booklet the Scriptural observance of the Sabbath day is crucial. I have discovered that most of these laws require obedience before understanding is given.

The result will be an increase in blessing that Almighty God (Yah) can give. The individual can receive blessing for correct observance of God’s Holy day.

(Isaiah 32:15-20) (KJV) Starting at verse 15

Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest. 16 Then judgment shall dwell in the wilderness, and righteousness remain in the fruitful field.

17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever. 18 And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places; 19 When it shall hail, coming down on the forest; and the city shall be low in a low place. 20 Blessed are ye that sow beside all waters, that send forth thither the feet of the ox and the ass. I want to mention this, but I don’t want to make it a sticking point because righteousness is more important than all.

I may be using a term for the name of God on occasion that may sound a bit unusual, yet from my studies it appears to me to me closer to the truth than many other names that are used.

Hebrew is read right to left. Yod Hay, Uwa, Hay, And the word HallellueYah although spelled with a “J” is always pronounced with the “Y” sound as, “YAH”, and not with the “J” sound as “JAH”. . ( Note: the Hebrew is read from right to left)

The letter “J” was not actually in the scripture until 1611 the “Yod” changed to a “J”.

There is no “J” in the name: HWHY.

Why is the Scripture so difficult to understand?

Why are there as many interpretations as there are people? God himself designed it that way. No flesh can stand before God because every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Yahushua is LORD Of all. Scripture defines itself.

There is no need to go out side the Scripture to determine the meaning of the Scripture. God has made certain that we have received the Scripture over the last 5000 plus years and it is sufficient for our needs in understanding.

Introduction

By Whose Authority is the Scripture?

The question as to who wrote the Scripture must be answered, first and foremost, to establish the authority to establish the authorship. This is known as ‘laying the foundation’. For instance, if a handful of men from different ages and eras conspired with the others after reading the writing of the others of their own volition and compiled it, then the authority of the Scripture is made weak and of no authority. Thus, we must find real, competent evidence to lay the foundation of the authority of the Scripture before any discussion can begin; this initial question must be answered: By Whose Authority is the Scripture? If proved that Almighty God is the authority and the author of the Scripture then we had better begin paying attention. So, let us begin finding some real evidence. What does the Scripture say of itself?

A first principle to have firmly in mind throughout this study is stated here in 2^nd Peter and 2^nd Thessalonians:

Second issue is that;

The Holy Ghost is the Author, and “All Scripture is God-breathed” . So we have 3 Scriptures that claim that the Scripture is from God, the Creator. The sovereignty of the authority thus established.

The authority is God.

The Scripture tells us that it is not “as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God”.

If we are settled then, Dear Reader, that the foundation of the authorship of the Scripture is God, then we can move forward to the second issue.

The principles for understanding the Scripture.

There are a number of principles that need to be understood in order to understand the Scripture. The following Scriptures each have a piece of the puzzle. Taken together they paint a picture and tell a story.

Psalms 119:142 KJV+ Thy righteousness^H6666is an everlasting^H5769 righteousness,^H6664 and thy law^H8451is the truth.^H571

Summary of the Principles for understanding Scripture.

These principles from Scripture identify and lay the foundation and provide us with the evidence necessary to observe and heed every word contained therein.

1. The identity of the author;

2. The Sovereignty of the Author,

3. The objective of the Author.

4. The goal of the writing

5. The intent of the Scriptures.

6. Identifies Truth.

Pilate may have asked : What is truth? But we who know our God already know what truth is.

And we are to use the Scripture to define the Scripture not privately deciding what it means:

2Pe 1:20 Knowing^G1097 this^G5124 first,^G4412 that^G3754 no^{G3956 G3756} prophecy^G4394 of the scripture^G1124 is^G1096 of any private^G2398 interpretation.^G1955

We can’t decide for ourselves what the Scripture means. The Scripture must define itself. And it can be used to test itself. The Scripture has a built-in test for itself, a built in litmus test, so to speak. Every word must be in line with every other word in the Scripture. The Scripture is not going to state a contradiction. So every interpretation must be fully in compliance with the law:

Isaiah 8:20 To the law^H8451 and to the testimony:^H8584 if^H518 they speak^H559 not^H3808 according to this^H2088 word,^H1697it is because^H834there is no^H369 light^H7837 in them.

Question to ask: Would God Almighty, Creator of the Universe, and the Author of the Scripture, the author of every breath, and every syllable of the Scripture, the “Word made flesh” nullify his own word?

Let us go to the Scripture once again. The book of John records this: (from the literal translation)

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:2 He was in the beginning with God. John 1:3 All things came into being through Him, and without Him not even one thing came into being that has come into being. John 1:14 And the Word became flesh and tabernacled among us. And we beheld His glory, glory as of an only begotten from the Father, full of grace and of truth.

This ‘Word’, of which we speak, became a man and lived on the earth He created. The incarnate Word.

Perhaps a better question to ask is, “Who is the Word of God?” Correct?

The Messiah? The Logos? The Word made Flesh? The Law? Yahushua(Jesus) is the Word made flesh.

This Universe was created by the Word which he spoke, and this Word, this Logos, this God chose to incarnate and to live among his creation.

Pro 8:30 Then I was^H1961 by^H681 him, as one brought up^H525with him: and I was^H1961 daily^{H3117 H3117}his delight,^H8191 rejoicing^H7832 always^{H3605 H6256} before^H6440 him;

Pro 8:31 Rejoicing^H7832 in the habitable part^H8398 of his earth;^H776 and my delights^H8191 were with^H854 the sons^H1121 of men.^H120

(Delights with the Sons of men! He loves us. He loves our concerns. He loves our minds and our creativity. He desires our love and our worship).

The question arises: Who was “with Him”? Who was with The Father during the Creation of the Universe?

The Word; the Logos, was with Him.

This Logos, this God, came to the earth He created. He humbled himself and became a man.

What is God’s will? God’s will is that his creation obeys his will, his law, his order so that his creation will be happy, healthy and live in his light.

Learn to do right.

How do we know what ‘right’ is? If there is a right, there must be a wrong. One can not experience light without darkness, good without evil, the sensation of heat without the absence of heat as a contrast. There would be no distinguishing with out the opposite.

Right comes from Righteous/ righteousness and how does the Scripture define “righteousness”?

What is truth?

Truth is the Word of God.

3Scriptures: to prove the identity of what is Truth?

John 17:17; and 1^st Kings 17:24.

And confirmation, the second witness:

Where is the Sovereignty mentioned that’s necessary to establish the Authority of the Sabbath day law?

That would be Genesis 1:1. He is the creator. The creator of the universe has spoken.

Next the Scripture says that the author does not change.

God set up the plan and spoke it into existence and promises that he will not change:

Malachi 3:6

The Scripture can not be broken.

And He is not going to teach just anybody. The individual has to be ready to learn:

The law on the Sabbath.

He gives his Name, his Title, and his Jurisdiction as the evidence of the authority of the command to keep the Sabbath day holy as per these following Scriptures: His name: YHWH. His Title: Creator. His jurisdiction: The Heaven and the Earth.

A weekly return Home

The bottom line is that we have a command here to “rest” once a week on the 7^th day. In returning and rest shall be your strength as Isaiah says:

(Isaiah 30:15 KJV+) For^H3588 thus^H3541 saith^H559 the Lord^H136 GOD,^H3069 the Holy One^H6918 of Israel;^H3478 In returning^H7729 and rest^H5183 shall ye be saved;^H3467 in quietness^H8252 and in confidence^H985 shall be^H1961 your strength:^H1369 and ye would^H14 not.^H3808

There are several words for ‘rest” in Scripture but the one I want to look at right now comes from the Greek word ‘katapausis’ and it seems to imply the meaning of the word ‘home’, ‘an abode’, where you live.**From E-Sword Strong’s Concordance Created by Rick Myers**

Perhaps this ‘rest’ is a manner of going home. The individual is to come home once a week to visit and to hear. As sojourners whether as an ambassador, or as a citizen of God’s kingdom on this earth, we are far away from our home, and have no sure place to lay our head as neither did our Messiah on his sojourn here.

So once a week we are to take our rest in the manner God has provided us on our life long journey. This is our training ground. Will we obey him, or no?

(Deuteronomy 8:2 KJV+) And thou shalt remember^{H2142 (H853)} all^H3605 the way^H1870 which^H834 the LORD^H3068 thy God^H430 led^H1980 thee these^H2088 forty^H705 years^H8141 in the wilderness,^H4057 to^H4616 humble^H6031 thee, and to prove^H5254 thee, to know^{H3045 (H853)} what^H834was in thine heart,^H3824 whether thou wouldest keep^H8104 his commandments,^H4687 or^H518 no.^H3808

So we return ‘home’ to our Creator once a week. This is the foundation of Worship, which is obedience to the laws of the Sovereign.

It is a command. Every man must be free once every 7 years on the Jubilee year, which is the year of release of all debt, thus every man must be free once every 7 days on the day of release, the Sabbath day.

God Almighty set up this weekly repose for us to keep communication with Him. We go back to home base and refresh, refill our supplies, renew our commitment to Him: He is our base, our foundation, our Rock.

The little ‘petros’ the little pebble must come again and rest on the ‘Petra” the massive rock, the mountain of our God. So we roll around doing our work and then return to the foundation.

We can not last long in the land if do not return and refresh.

(Isaiah 28:12 KJV+) To^H413 whom^H834 he said,^H559 This^H2063is the rest^H4496wherewith ye may cause the weary^H5889 to rest;^H5117 and this^H2063is the refreshing:^H4774 yet they would^H14 not^H3808 hear.^H8085

If we refuse to obey this commandment, how long can we last? I would suggest to you that we will not last long. We must return to the well to refill our water. The well is the Messiah and his Word, his Logos, his command set up from the beginning of the universe at Creation. He has mentioned this Sabbath issue 147 times in the Scripture (KJV+).

HE said:

“Rest.”

“Rest!”

“Rest!”

Do the command and God will let you know if it is his will.

This law must be obeyed first before the instruction on why will become clear to you.

I don’t see how this issue of Sabbath rest can be any clearer. It is plain as day light to me that we are supposed to be resting once a week as per the Law of the Sabbath.

Part II

The proper observation of the Sabbath.

The question arises now. How do we keep the Sabbath. Let us return once again to the Foundational Scriptures starting with Isaiah,

(Isaiah 56:2 KJV+) Blessed^H835 is the man^H582 that doeth^H6213 this,^H2063 and the son^H1121 of man^H120 that layeth hold^H2388 on it; that keepeth^H8104 the sabbath^H7676 from polluting^{H4480 H2490} it, and keepeth^H8104 his hand^H3027 from doing^{H4480 H6213} any^H3605 evil.^H7451

(Isaiah 56:6 KJV+) Also the sons^H1121 of the stranger,^H5236 that join themselves^H3867 to^H5921 the LORD,^H3068 to serve^H8334 him, and to love^{H157 (H853)} the name^H8034 of the LORD,^H3068 to be^H1961 his servants,^H5650 every one^H3605 that keepeth^H8104 the sabbath^H7676 from polluting^{H4480 H2490} it, and taketh hold^H2388 of my covenant;^H1285

It appears that we are to be doing something other than what we do on the other six(6) days of the week. It appears that the Sabbath day is to be set apart from the other days of the week.

Sin is Transgression of the Law.

God wants to bless each of us and he wants to bless us abundantly but we have to be in line with His Commands.

God can not view sin, and sin is the transgression of the law. So by failure to keep his fourth (4^th) command we are in effect breaking his law and thus we are in sin.

Many people have this strange idea that the law is no longer to be observed. But is that what Yahushua said? It would be a strange interpretation of the following words:

Mat 5:17 Think^G3543 not^G3361 that^G3754 I am come^G2064 to destroy^G2647 the^G3588 law,^G3551 or^G2228 the^G3588 prophets:^G4396 I am not^G3756 come^G2064 to destroy,^G2647 but^G235 to fulfil.^G4137

Mat 5:18 For^G1063 verily^G281 I say^G3004 unto you,^G5213 Till^G2193 heaven^G3772 and^G2532 earth^G1093 pass,^G3928 one^G1520 jot^G2503 or^G2228 one^G3391 tittle^G2762 shall in no wise^G3364 pass^G3928 from^G575 the^G3588 law,^G3551 till^G2193 all^G3956 be fulfilled.^G1096

Mat 5:19 Whosoever^{G3739 G1437} therefore^G3767 shall break^G3089 one^G3391 of these^G5130 least^G1646 commandments,^G1785 and^G2532 shall teach^G1321 men^G444 so,^G3779 he shall be called^G2564 the least^G1646 in^G1722 the^G3588 kingdom^G932 of heaven:^G3772 but^G1161 whosoever^{G3739 G302} shall do^G4160 and^G2532 teach^G1321 them, the same^G3778 shall be called^G2564 great^G3173 in^G1722 the^G3588 kingdom^G932 of heaven.^G3772

Did Yahushua (Jesus Christ) come to the earth he created to do away with the principles he spoke into existence?

Is the law not in force because Jesus Christ ( Yahushua) did not mention it again when he walked the planet?

Are the traffic laws not in force because the traffic cop did not read every one of them to me when he stopped me for rolling though a stop sign?

Of course they are. Yeah, and I paid for it.

It is my responsibility to know every one of the two thousand laws concerning the license which I used carried in my pocket, correct?

A commentary on this from the Jamison Fausset and Brown Commentary states this quoted from the E-Sword program created by Rick Meyers:

Think not that I am come — that I came.

to destroy the law, or the prophets — that is, “the authority and principles of the Old Testament.” (On the phrase, see Mat_7:12; Mat_22:40; Luk_16:16; Act_13:15). This general way of taking the phrase is much better than understanding “the law” and “the prophets” separately, and inquiring, as many good critics do, in what sense our Lord could be supposed to meditate the subversion of each. I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil — Not to subvert, abrogate, or annul, but to establish the law and the prophets – to unfold them, to embody them in living form, and to enshrine them in the reverence, affection, and character of men, am I come.

So it appears that the law/word/logos that proceeded out of the mouth of God is still in full force and effect:

But the question arises, who spoke these words “that man shall not live by bread alone” in the book of Deuteronomy? The answer: The Word, The Logos. The word was with God and the Word Was God From John 1:1.

Deuteronomy 8:3 And he humbled^H6031 thee, and suffered thee to hunger,^H7456 and fed^H398 thee with^H854 manna,^H4478 which^H834 thou knewest^H3045 not,^H3808 neither^H3808 did thy fathers^H1 know;^H3045 that^H4616 he might make thee know^H3045 that^H3588 man^H120 doth not^H3808 live^H2421 by^H5921 bread^H3899 only,^H905 but^H3588 by^H5921 every^H3605 word that proceedeth out^H4161 of the mouth^H6310 of the LORD^H3068 doth man^H120 live.^H2421

Is it provable that the Sabbath day is the 7^th Day

I am not going to go into detail into the external proofs of this evidence but I will mention that even today the calendar is the same. Day one is the first day and day 7 is the Sabbath Day. Nothing has changed. When the Gregorian Calendar was started the days moved forward from the 4 to the 14^th but the day of the week was not changed.

Even the Pope in 364 AD was convinced that the Sabbath day is the seventh day or Saturday because in his Papal Bull he transferred the solemnity of the Sabbath from Saturday to the venerable day of the sun, the first day of the week.( See National Sunday Law by Jan Marcusen).   http://www.seventh-day.org/Read_NSL.htm

Isaiah 55:11 So^H3651 shall my word^H1697 be^H1961 that^H834 goeth forth^H3318 out of my mouth:^{H4480 H6310} it shall not^H3808 return^H7725 unto^H413 me void,^H7387 but^{H3588 H518} it shall accomplish^{H6213 (H853)} that which^H834 I please,^H2654 and it shall prosper^H6743in the thing whereto^H834 I sent^H7971 it.

How to determine which day is holy to Almighty Loving God (YAH)?

God showed the Children of Israel in the desert which day was the Sabbath before he spoke to them on Mount Sinai which day is the Sabbath by his actions. He commanded them to collect manna on 6 days and that on the 6^th day he would give a double portion to be laid up for the Sabbath day. Every other day any manna that was stored “bred worms and stank”.

So they were able to store manna over night on only one night a week. God made sure they knew which day was set apart.

Nor were they supposed to cook it on the Sabbath day: Everything was to be prepared before the Sabbath day.

Exodus 16:20 Notwithstanding they hearkened^H8085 not^H3808 unto^H413 Moses;^H4872 but some^H376 of them left^H3498 of^H4480 it until^H5704 the morning,^H1242 and it bred^H7311 worms,^H8438 and stank:^H887 and Moses^H4872 was wroth^H7107 with^H5921 them.

Notice that one day a week the manna did not stink when held over from the sixth day to the seventh day—the Sabbath!

Even the manna was only given by God on the 6 work days because God himself rested from giving the manna.

And he proved the 7^th day Holy by keeping the manna fresh over night that was gathered on the 6^th day. Every other day of the week the manna rotted if it was kept over night.

Exodus 16:25 And Moses^H4872 said,^H559 Eat^H398 that to day;^H3117 for^H3588 to day^H3117is a sabbath^H7676 unto the LORD:^H3068 to day^H3117 ye shall not^H3808 find^H4672 it in the field.^H7704

Exodus 16:26 Six^H8337 days^H3117 ye shall gather^H3950 it; but on the seventh^H7637 day,^H3117which is the sabbath,^H7676 in it there shall be^H1961 none.^H3808

When was the Sabbath day created?

The Sabbath was Created and commanded in the beginning well before the Children of Israel received the Law from the mouth of God:

Gen 2:1 Thus the heavens^H8064 and the earth^H776 were finished,^H3615 and all^H3605 the host^H6635 of them.

Gen 2:2 And on the seventh^H7637 day^H3117 God^H430 ended^H3615 his work^H4399 which^H834 he had made;^H6213 and he rested^H7673 on the seventh^H7637 day^H3117 from all^{H4480 H3605} his work^H4399 which^H834 he had made.^H6213

Gen 2:3 And God^H430 blessed^{H1288 (H853)} the seventh^H7637 day,^H3117 andsanctified^H6942 it: because^H3588 that in it he had rested^H7673 from all^{H4480 H3605} his work^H4399 which^H834 God^H430 created^H1254 and made.^H6213

Even God stopped working on the 7^th day. No Work to be done on the Sabbath day:

So we are commanded to cease working on this one day a week: As the master, YHWH, rests, so the servant rests.

(Matthew 10:24-25) (KJV) Starting at verse 24 The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord. 25 It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household? (Matthew 10:24-25, KJV)

(Deuteronomy 5:14) Neither^H3808 carry forth^H3318 a burden^H4853 out of your houses^{H4480 H1004} on the sabbath^H7676 day,^H3117 neither^H3808 do^H6213 ye any^H3605 work,^H4399 but hallow^H6942 ye^(H853) the sabbath^H7676 day,^H3117 as^H834 I commanded^H6680 your fathers.^H1

The Logos made the Sabbath.

The Logos is the Word. The two are the same.

Notice that the Greek word for “word” is “logos”. If the Logos made the Sabbath and it was started at the creation of the Universe and every word in the Scripture is from the “Logos” and the Logos is the Creator of the Universe then by whose authority is the Sabbath created?

Would it not be the “The Word”, “the Logos”, The Messiah, the Son of God, the Creator, all one and the same?

What was the first Word that the Logos spoke?

(Genesis 1:3 KJV+) And God^H430 said,^H559 Let there be^H1961 light:^H216 and there was^H1961 light.^H216

So did every other Word in the Scripture proceed out of the same mouth?

Shall man live by bread alone, or by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God?

Why was the Sabbath made?

(Mar 2:27) And^G2532 he said^G3004 unto them,^G846 The^G3588 sabbath^G4521 was made^G1096 for^G1223 man,^G444 and not^G3756 man^G444 for^G1223 the^G3588 sabbath:^G4521

Let us read that verse using different words, for instance:

The ‘Rest’ was made for man, and not man for ‘rest’.

This Sabbath was the day God Almighty sanctified for rest.

Man needs rest.

Who is the supreme authority over the Sabbath?

Who is “Lord of the Sabbath? What did Jesus Christ (Yasha Yahushua) say about the Sabbath?

A quick note on this Luke 13:15 is that permissible activity on the Sabbath would include feeding and watering animals that are caged or stalled.

God created the Sabbath by resting from all his works.

So God, the “Logos”, spoke everything into existence and we have this “Logos” recorded in the Scripture.

He is the Logos:

What is the “Logos” or the “Word”? John 1:1 ff.

The Scripture tells us that Yahushua is the Creator of all that is:

So it is through Him that all is in existence. By Him, For Him and In Him.

He spoke and it was created and continues to be.

So by the same Authority/Sovereign Power/God/Law-maker/Creator the Universe came into existence and this same authority gave the laws associated with the Universe (such as the law of gravity and the weak nuclear force and the force that keeps the planets in their orbits) as well as the Moral Law.

Almighty God created the law that he spoke to Moses in the presence of all the people:

God does not change: He gave the law and made the commandments and has not repealed them.

Mal 3:6 For^H3588 I^H589am the LORD,^H3068 I change^H8138 not;^H3808 therefore ye^H859 sons^H1121 of Jacob^H3290 are not^H3808 consumed.^H3615

His word proceeds from his mouth and will not return to him void as it says in Isaiah:

God’s Word is truth and we are to be Holy people.

We are to be a “peculiar” people who obey Him and keep his commandments.

The people of the covenant are going to appear strange to the world. They will be weird because they will be obeying His Word.

People died for this right to obey God and keep his commandments. In the end times there will be another great persecution. Many will fall away.

The initiation of the Law:

When did the law start?

Day 7 of the Creation of the Universe.

1. The Law was in full force and affect well before God gave it to Moses and the people.

a. He taught it to Adam in the garden when he said:

1. Abraham received his blessing because he kept the commands

3. Even Noah had the law. And by his keeping of God’s law he was saved in the ark. 8 people were spared:

4. Noah was a preacher of Righteousness.

5. His Word is Righteousness. The word for Righteousness comes from the word for commandments. Psalm 119: 172; Righteousness is Commandments

6. The Law of God is Righteous. The Law of God is Commandments.

Defining necessary words.

1. And the word for lawlessness is “Anomia”.

2. The word for “law” in the Greek is “Nomos”

3. And the Greek word for “name” is “Onomah”.

“Transgression of the Law” and the word “iniquity” is from the Greek word “anomia”. The “a” before the “nomos” negates the word. So it means No law, and perhaps “no name” as the word seems to imply.

Sabbath day

This came to my mind today:

God warned me in dreams before I went up to (Private)Mo to meet the (private name)’s.

I got the “Word is Corrupted dream” In this dream I come upon a pile of debris upon which I find a book. I pick up the book and open it up and it is the Scripture, but inside the Scripture are missing words and it is full of black nasty looking hairy worms that are eating the words in the book and removing many of them.

Purple oil dream: Look what he did, the child yells out after the purple oil container was ripped and the purple oil spilled out. He looked at me with huge opened eyes. Then the next scene of the dream I am in a room that has flooded.

Then I am running through the wilderness and I realize I have already left safety and was on the way. ( I wish I had heeded this dream and stopped and thought before going to Missouri).

The I got the “deal in the wilderness” dream where I was running and George put his hand around my shoulders and decided to make a deal ( find the audio of it)

After: I got the “Perfect forms in Sand” dream tolerances in sand.

The man in the dream said, “I’m a pastor” as he polished the sand formations he had made.
